A group of "Joaldun" march carrying sheep furs and big cowbells on their backs on January 30th, 2006 at the village of Ituren, Basque Country. Joaldun groups perform an ancient traditional carnival at the villages of Ituren and Zubieta making sound their cowbells in order to wake up the earth, to ask for a good new year, a good harvest and also to keep away the bad spirits.
