Irun (Basque Country). August 5, 2020. A group of volunteers has created a host network to serve migrants and inform about the public services they are entitled to and the ways to cross the border. This group of volunteers is avoiding a serious humanitarian problem Irun, the Basque municipality on the border with Hendaye. As the number of migrants arriving on the coasts of southern Spain incresead, more and more migrants are heading north to the border city of Irun. One of the functions performed by these volunteers is to direct the newcomers to the device the red cross has for migrants in transit, so that they can sleep in a safe place.
